Work And Save

Living Out Faith By Serving Our Community

After successfully completing either the Emergency Program or the Genesis Program and securing full-time employment, a resident may become eligible to transition into the Work and Save Program. This program allows residents to continue building on their progress while saving money over a 12-month period to support long-term stability and independence.

Individuals who are gainfully employed before entering our facility may also be eligible to participate in the Work and Save Program, provided they meet all program requirements.

To qualify for the Work and Save Program, participants must:

  • Be gainfully employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

  • Provide verification of employment before being admitted to the program.

  • Maintain qualifying employment throughout their participation in the program.

For the purposes of this program, employment is defined as work in which the employer either withholds applicable payroll taxes (W-2 employment) or issues a Form 1099 at the end of the tax year for independent contractor work
